Back from nine days roaming around the country between Iowa and North Carolina. Met up with Gary and Harold in east Tennessee and a variety of junk and antiques and collectibles they had to offer.
Dan was patient with me, indulging in my various requests to stop, turn around (he loves U-turns) and go back to something alongside the road! We went to Churchill Downs, the Louisville Slugger plant, Daniel Boone National Forest, Harper's Ferry, Monticello and Appomattox -- to name a few -- and worked in some golf.
Then Friday and Saturday I spent two full days of workshop with Barb at Faux Works, along with 29 other stockists and mini-stockists for Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. Phenomenal! That is all I can say. Great product, great people, lots of fantastic info to share with my customers. Who are a growing list as sales were active on line and at the Brass Armadillo during my absence!
This weekend we will be painting the new booth #201 at the Armadillo and getting it stocked. Right now I am up to my elbows in paint and furniture getting ready for the weekend. But remember it is not just paint and furniture. While my garden art will not be there til spring now, new glass arrangements for window suncatchers, wall hangings and centerpieces are also available. Enjoy!
