More Stencils: By Royal Design and Maison de Stencils including Chalk Board style letters and numbers like you see on café wall menus, lace doilies, mannequin, French writing, feedsack designs,

Junk and Vintage Jewelry: We have a new local supplier of jewelry that is reasonable and a charming blend of repro and found things. You will love these by Vintage Market of Urbandale!

TIP OF THE MONTH:
Buy a gallon of distilled water to keep on your work bench! Use it instead of tap water to thin your paint in or out of the can! This will help you from contaminating the paint with the bacteria and other materials present in tapwater. Why is this important? Tap water sealed in with your paint for weeks before you use you paint again, may cause bacteria or enzyme activity that will either make the paint develop mold or an odor. It is always a good idea to take what you think you will use out of the can, instead of painting "out of the can" to prevent contaminants!

STORE HIGHLIGHT OF THE MONTH:
Come in and check out how we have taken a pair of garage sale oil paintings, taken them off the canvas and used them as the upholstery on two chairs. The chairs wood and upholstery were then painted with Chalk Paint® decorative paint by Annie Sloan in colors that complement the paintings!
